2017-2019  Merriment in Melrose, Event Coordinator

Merriment in Melrose is an annual community event to benefit Osborn Music Programs in the form of a street fair with craft vendors, live music, food trucks, and a fundraising raffle. Responsibilities include working with local community organizations to host the event; coordinating a planning team; registering 50 craft vendors; recruiting and scheduling event volunteers; managing rental equipment and event layout; website design and maintenance; fundraising and sponsorship acquisition.

 

2019-2020  Tempe Winds, Marketing Committee Chair

Tempe Winds is Arizona’s premier community wind ensemble. Responsibilities include working with board members to design and execute marketing materials and campaigns for upcoming concerts to increase audience attendance.

 

2018             Daraja Music Initiative, Volunteer Music Educator

Moshi, Tanzania

Daraja Music Initiative is a non-profit organization focused on teaching about music education and sustainability of the mpingo tree in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Volunteer work included teaching general music theory classes to students aged 4-14 and small-group wind instrument lessons for students aged 14-18 daily over the course of 3 weeks.

 

2014-2015    Harmony Project Phoenix, Director of Network Relations

Harmony Project Phoenix is a non-profit after-school music-mentoring program. Responsibilities included helping with logistical setup for the start of the organization, website design and maintenance, grant writing, fundraising, instrument acquisition, and pedagogical development.
